I chose to explore Yogile. I have never heard of it and thought it had a fun name so why not check it out! I am not familiar with YouTube Editor or Screenr either so this is a choice made off of the fun name. After typing in Yogile.com It takes you to a page where you can sign up for free. Once you have created an account you are free to upload pictures by either clicking the "upload" button, dragging the photos onto the page, or emailing them to an email address. These photos can be placed in different albums created and them they can be chosen to be shared with the public, only those who receive the link to the album, or to no one but yourself.
This app seems like it is user friendly but may not be the best for the younger aged students to use. It is password protected so it keeps anything shared on there safe from hackers and such which is important if it is something like sharing pictures of the class during fun events to parents. Another cool aspect is that it deletes the pictures posted 14 days later which can help keep things secure and safe for all who use it.
I think this is a really neat idea because when the class, teachers, or parents take pictures that they want to share with everyone email is not something that is able to send multiple images due to their size. I can even use this with my family and friends! Only thing is that this seems kind of like a place where people could post pictures of others (bullying) and then after those 14 days they can go away. As an adult sing this site with students, I would want to make sure and daily monitor the pictures posted.
This app could be used for parents, students, or teachers to use in order to post pictures of the classes during a fun event or for the student of the week, etc. It is an easy way to especially share these with the parents because you would just email them a link that went to those photos and told them they would be taken off what ever the day 14 days later would be. This concept will put the parents at ease knowing that their child's picture will not be on this website forever.
Good points
